Every Friday, local Tampa Bay
activists protest in front of FOX13
(3213 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL

misinformation propagated by FOX
NEWS. FOX13 Station is chosen
because of location and
name recognition.
Bring your signs, your banners, your
costumes, and anything that RESISTS
the trump regime. FOX13 is a good
local news outlet that doesn’t engage
in the rampant misinformation that
FOX NEWS propagates and is not the
target of our activism. This is a
peaceful protest. Do Not harass any
employees of FOX13.

horns) No yelling of profanity or
agitations are allowed.

Join us for an exciting opportunity to
connect with Glenn Pearson,
Democratic Candidate for the US
House, FL Congressional District 16.
Glenn has spent his life standing up
for everyday people—first as a
broadcast journalist who exposed
corruption and held the powerful
accountable, and now as a small
business owner helping working
families secure their futures.
Past president of the Manatee County
Black Caucus, past vice-chair of the
Manatee County Democratic Party and
a long-time local resident, Glenn has
seen firsthand how a broken political
system favors the wealthy and well-
connected while hardworking families
fall behind. That’s why he’s running
for Congress: to bring truth,
accountability, and common sense
back to Washington, and to fight for
an economy that works for everyone—
not just those at the top.
Glenn is stepping up to fight for
programs that help us: Medicare,
Medicaid, Social Security, food
assistance and programs for people
with disabilities, and our veterans. He
will fight against anything that harms
hardworking families: tariffs,
ICE and this war of choice.
Hear directly about his vision and
plans for our community. Ask
questions and share your concerns.
Meet neighbors and show your support.
RSVP today to save your seat.
Space is limited.

People Power for Florida, GenCleo,
and Youth Action Fund are on a
mission to build a youth movement of
students and alumni from campuses
across the state that vote in every
single election and build a Democracy
that works for everyday people –
Not Billionaires.
When we engage with students on a
year-round basis on the issues that
matter to them, we can turn agony and
helplessness into real meaningful
action and turn sporadic & inactive
voters into active voters and
disruptors. This is why we are starting
EARLY in 2026 knocking student
doors and making our case for why
NOW is the time for students to rise up.
Never knocked doors before? No
worries! Our team will provide you
with all the training you need as well
as pairing you up with an experienced
canvasser – so you never have to
knock doors alone!

2026 FLORIDA LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Equal Ground On The Ground: 2026
Legislative Session Debrief Tour –
Hillsborough County
Following the conclusion of Florida’s
2026 Legislative Session, Equal
Ground and partners are taking the
conversation directly to the people
through our On The Ground
Legislative Session Debrief Tour, a
statewide effort to ensure our
communities are informed, engaged,
and prepared for what lies ahead.
This nonpartisan event is designed to
break down what happened during the
legislative session, what new laws and
policy changes mean for everyday
Floridians, and how these decisions
will impact our communities,
particularly Black communities and
other historically underrepresented voices.
Through this gathering, participants will:
-Receive clear, accessible updates on
major legislation passed
during the session;
-Understand the real-life impact of
policy decisions on voting rights,
education, criminal justice, economic
opportunity, and more;
-Engage directly with policy experts,
community leaders, and advocates.
Learn how to stay civically engaged
and prepared for the 2026 election
cycle, including updates related to
district lines and redistricting
More than just a debrief, this event is a
call to action, equipping individuals,
faith leaders, and community
organizations with the tools and
knowledge needed to organize,
mobilize, and make their voices heard.
At Equal Ground, we believe that
informed communities are empowered
communities. The On The Ground
Legislative Session Debrief Tour
ensures that what happens in
Tallahassee does not stay in
Tallahassee, but reaches every corner
of our state.
