Virtual – watch from anywhere
On June 14, the Committee for the
First Amendment will be hosting Rise
Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First
Amendment, an uplifting evening of
song, solidarity, and action. Featuring
an all-star line-up of performers, this
90-minute concert event will celebrate
the freedoms guaranteed by our First
Amendment—of speech, religion,
press, assembly, and protest—and the
people power that both fuels these
rights and is essential to guarantee them.
Even as authoritarians increase their
attacks on our freedoms and
communities, we see examples across
the country of people rising up
together, taking action, and turning
back those forces.
The event will be streamed with watch
parties all across the country—so
wherever you are, you can sing along,
find inspiration in the performances,
build community, and take
meaningful action together.

It is not a question of whether those in
power will try to steal the elections;
the recent Callais decision makes clear
that authoritarians are already doing
everything they can to grab power and
keep us from voting. Our task is clear.
Fight, win, prove, and enforce free and
fair elections. With that in mind,
Freedom Trainers has revamped
its Noncooperation 101 Training,
to emphasize a focus on
election protection and preparedness.
Join us for a 2-hour virtual training on
civil resistance and noncooperation.
We will cover the authoritarian threat,
how to defeat it, and especially focus
on countering the all-out assault on
our elections and freedom to vote at a
scale matching the severity of the
threat. Participants will leave with
concrete steps for taking action.

drivers going by, let the community
recognize that we are standing
together, United against fascism,
billionaires, abusers while protecting
the Constitution and all it stands for.
This event has been weekly at this
location since the first week of Jan
2026 and there are 4 other active

phase of this battle….
The midterm elections.
This a local Indivisible event! A core
principle behind all Indivisible events

We expect all participants to seek to
de-escalate any potential
confrontation with those who disagree
with our values.

We are facing the most brazen
rollback of civil rights in generations.
The same spirit that fueled Selma,
Montgomery, and the March on
Washington lives on in our unified action.
Six years after the passing of
Congressman Lewis, we continue the
fight for voting rights with “Good
Trouble Lives On Weekend of Action
(GTLO)” from July 17-19.
Join us for a training to learn how you
as an attorney, can help provide legal
knowledge and support for one of the
nationwide voter registration events
in your area.
We will also discuss other ways you
can help, including: Legal Observers
for Voter Registration, Rallies,
Marches and other Public Events;
Speakers at Teach Ins, Faith Based

CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 12 CANDIDATE
Trinity Democratic Club is an
organization of people who live in the
Trinity area of Pasco County, Florida
located in the Tampa Bay region. They
support candidates and causes that
align with Democratic Party causes,
concerns and platforms.
The meeting will include
US Congressional District 12
Candidate Kimberly Overman coming
to listen, meet, and share her
positions and objectives for the
campaign. As a former County
Commissioner, she is focused on
kitchen-table issues: lowering the cost
of healthcare, housing, and insurance;
protecting access to women’s
healthcare; and strengthening Social
Security and Medicare. Families in
Florida’s 12th District are being
squeezed while politicians avoid tough
decisions. She has a record of
balancing budgets, improving
services, and delivering results and
will take that same practical, fiscally
responsible approach to Congress.
