Wednesday – May 13

9:00 am to 7:00 pm

Morning rush hour or the lunch rush.

Or when the weather’s nice

or you have some free time.

Just pick a time and

head for a street corner near you

on Highway 54.

HUMPDAY SOCIAL

Every Single Week… Grab a sign, grab

a friend and hit the street for an hour

or 2 near you. Wake the minds of

drivers going by, let the community

recognize that we are standing

together, United against fascism,

billionaires, abusers while protecting

the Constitution and all it stands for.

This event has been weekly at this

location since the first week of Jan

2026 and there are 4 other active

corners nearby as of May 1 as this

spreads across the county, the state,

the nation. Assorted start times works

around weather and work schedules

so follow on Facebook

Pick your signs carefully, follow local

laws and enjoy the encouragement as

your community begins to shift, to

wake up. It is tangible. We have begun

to add signs posted during the event

for local candidates to gain name

recognition as we move into the next

phase of this battle….

The midterm elections.

This a local Indivisible event! A core

principle behind all Indivisible events

is a commitment to nonviolent action.

We expect all participants to seek to

de-escalate any potential

confrontation with those who disagree

with our values.

2026 FLORIDA LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

Equal Ground On The Ground:

2026 Legislative Session Debrief Tour

Pasco County

Following the conclusion of Florida’s

2026 Legislative Session, Equal

Ground and partners are taking the

conversation directly to the people

through our On The Ground

Legislative Session Debrief Tour, a

statewide effort to ensure our

communities are informed, engaged,

and prepared for what lies ahead.

This nonpartisan event is designed to

break down what happened during the

legislative session, what new laws and

policy changes mean for everyday

Floridians, and how these decisions

will impact our communities,

particularly Black communities and

other historically underrepresented voices.

Through this gathering, participants will:

-Receive clear, accessible updates on

major legislation passed

during the session

-Understand the real-life impact of

policy decisions on voting rights,

education, criminal justice, economic

opportunity, and more

-Engage directly with policy experts,

community leaders, and advocates

Learn how to stay civically engaged

and prepared for the 2026 election

cycle, including updates related to

district lines and redistricting

More than just a debrief, this event is

a call to action, equipping individuals,

faith leaders, and community

organizations with the tools and

knowledge needed to organize,

mobilize, and make their voices heard.

At Equal Ground, we believe that

informed communities are

empowered communities. The On The

Ground Legislative Session Debrief

Tour ensures that what happens in

Tallahassee does not stay in

Tallahassee, but reaches

every corner of our state.
