The threat to the upcoming midterm
elections is of a different magnitude
than most of us have experienced in
our lifetimes. The modern American
authoritarian movement has rapidly
advanced efforts to dismantle
democracy – and subverting elections
is the next step for this authoritarian
movement, if it is to continue
consolidating power. We are
expecting an onslaught of election
sabotage tactics from localized and
national forces, and we need a
movement response. Join us for a
series of trainings that will help your
community not just defend the
elections but grow a proactive,
movement-building response that
demands a more robust democracy
beyond the ballot count. Please Note:
We do not record these trainings. To

Angie Fights For Us.
Let’s Fight For Angie.
Join the Angie For FL campaign at our
weekly canvass! We are seeking
volunteers to join us knocking on
doors and delivering information
cards to reach fellow Floridians as we
remind people that the primary is
August 18, and that Angie is a
Democrat on the ballot who will make
a significant difference in our state
once she is in Washington.
Angie is running to lower costs, raise
wages, and build a people-powered
government that puts families first.
Not greedy billionaires.
No experience necessary,
training will be provided!
Angie Nixon is running for
US Senate to replace Ashley Moody.
Tuesday – July 21 – 9:00 to 11:00 am
2001 Siesta Dr in Sarasota
Join us for our weekly rally in Sarasota
to resist fascism, get ICE off our
streets, and support Social Security.
Meet like-minded people who are
standing up for our rights. Help save
the Social Security we paid for and our
families are paying for.
No Trump “ICE GOONS”
in Sarasota schools!
No concentration camps!
No kidnapping of innocent people!
This is a local, Sarasota-based,
grassroots rally by Indivisible
Sarasota. WE ARE SEEN BY 2,500-
3,000 VEHICLES EACH WEEK! We
meet outside the Social Security office,
at the intersection of Siesta Drive and
South Tamiami Trail. The big sign
there is for the restaurant, Flemings.
The rally is in the shade and during
morning rush hour, so it will be
relatively cool but with a lot of
visibility. Parking is right across Siesta
Drive in the empty shopping mall
parking lot. By persisting week after
week, we are showing the people of
Sarasota that we are in this for the
long term and will persevere as long as
necessary. Expect lots of supportive
honking of horns.
Bring your own sign about Social
Security or any other topic related to
the resistance against the MAGA
attack on our democracy. See you there!
